If you print off, copy or download any part of the Website in breach of these terms, your right to use the Website will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.
6. Do not rely on information on the Website
The content on the Website is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely. You must obtain professional or specialist advice before taking, or refraining from, any action on the basis of the content on the Website.
Although we make reasonable efforts to update the information on the Website, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content on the Website is accurate, complete or up to date.
7. No offer or investment advice
Nothing on the Website constitutes, or is intended to constitute, an offer or invitation to buy or subscribe for any shares or other securities, an inducement or incentive to engage in any investment activity, or financial, investment, legal, tax or other professional advice. Any information about our company is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon in connection with any investment decision.
8. We are not responsible for websites we link to
Where the Website contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. Such links should not be interpreted as approval by us of those linked websites or information you may obtain from them. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
9. Prohibited uses and Website security
You must not misuse the Website by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, the server on which the Website is stored, or any server, computer or database connected to the Website. You must not attack the Website via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack.
By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use the Website will cease immediately.
You must not use the Website in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation, or in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect.
10. Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for: death or personal injury arising from our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations or other terms that may apply to the Website or any content on it, whether express or implied.
We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with:
(a) use of, or inability to use, the Website; or
(b) use of or reliance on any content displayed on the Website.
In particular, we will not be liable for any loss of profits, sales, business or revenue; business interruption; loss of anticipated savings; loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; or any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
11. Privacy and cookies
We take the privacy of visitors to the Website seriously. The Website does not include any forms; if you wish to contact us, you do so by emailing us at the address in section 1. We will use any personal information contained in your email only to respond to and deal with your enquiry.
The Website uses a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service to understand aggregate visitor numbers. This service does not use cookies and does not collect or store any information that identifies you personally. The Website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your personal information for marketing purposes.
When you visit the Website, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for the purposes of security and the proper operation of the Website. This information is processed in accordance with applicable data protection law.
12. Which country's laws apply to any disputes
These terms, their subject matter and their formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the law of England and Wales. We and you both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a resident of another part of the United Kingdom, you may bring proceedings in that part of the United Kingdom.
13. Other important terms
If any provision (or part of a provision) of these terms is found by any court or competent authority to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in force. If any invalid, unenforceable or illegal provision would be valid, enforceable or legal if some part of it were deleted, the provision will apply with the minimum modification necessary to make it legal, valid and enforceable.
If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these terms, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We will always tell you in writing if this happens and we will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under these terms.
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of the Website and supersede any prior agreement or understanding on the subject.
